Voip Installation (London)

Posted on 21/06/201108/03/2023 by Phil

I travelled down to london and had a look at there exsisting comms equitment and suggested that we VLAN the Voice and DATA so that the two are not running on the same network.

After looking at the Switch, which was a ZyXel 48 Port POE switch, a very nice switch indeed, I quickly created the VLAN on the switch, VLAN 1 being DATA and VLAN 2 being Voice and pluged there DATA Router in to port49 and the Voice Router in to Port 50.

I than only had to set the phoens to use VLAN 2 as the computer where already on VLAN 1 due to this being the management VLAN etc …

Was a really nice install….
